Ten Plays to be Produced in Brussels, Belgium in 2024
ECC Brussels, the oldest established English language theatre company on mainland Europe, is to produce ten of Andrew’s plays as part of its 2022-2023 season. The plays included are ‘The Craft,’ ‘Kitchen Sink Drama,’ ‘The Skewed Picture,’ ‘A Flawed Character,’ ‘The Curious Art of Critique,’ ‘A Rebel Among the Wretched,’ ‘Filler,’ ‘What's the Meta?’ ‘Tacked-on Ending’ and ‘An Honest Mistake.’ The production will take place from 23 to 27 April, 2024 at The Warehouse, Rue Waelhem 69, 1030 Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium. ‘A Flawed Character’ and 'The Craft’ in Arizona
Arizona State University will be producing ‘A Flawed Character’ and 'The Craft’ at the University’s Second Stage West theatre in its ‘Lights Up’ production. The performances take place on October 19th, 20th and 21st.

The Victoria School of the Arts in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, will be producing ‘Filler’ as part of its One-Act Play Festival, taking place in the spring of 2024. The production takes place on April 23 and 25, 2024.

Buffalo Grove High School in Illinois will be producing ‘The Skewed Picture’ and ‘A Flawed Character’ as part of its Fall Play Festival. The production takes place on September 21 and 23, 2023.

‘The Meta Plays’ in Chicago
The entire eight one-act plays that comprise ‘The Meta Plays’ collection will be performed at DePaul College Prep, on the North Side of Chicago, as its spring play selection for 2024. The production will run from March 14th through March 24th, 2024.

‘The Treachery of Images’ to be Broadcast in October
Los Angeles-based Dean Productions Theatre Company will be airing the audio drama adaptation of ‘The Treachery of Images,’ part of its acclaimed ‘Premiere the Play’ series, on October 3rd, 2023. It will be available on their website here – along with all of the other productions for this season – or on any platform (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, etc.) you choose to listen to your podcasts.

Mount Saint Mary’s University, in Emmitsburg, Maryland, has chosen to produce the entire collection of ‘The Meta Plays’ as their Spring Mainstage production, in March, 2023. Six of Andrew’s plays taken from ‘Ten-Minute Plays: The Comedy Collection’ will be produced by Limelight Productions in March, 2022 in Tortola, the largest island in the British Virgin Islands.

‘Kitchen Sink Drama’ in California
Naatak Theatre, based in the San Francisco area, will be producing ‘Kitchen Sink Drama’ as part of an evening of shorts plays.  Started in 1995 by students at the University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford University, Naatak is the most prominent and largest Indian theater company in the United States, having performed continuously for 27 years.The production will take place on Zoom for two evening in February, 2022. ‘A Familiar Face’ Now Published in Iran
Translated into Persian by Ensiyeh Peyafarin and Omid Alagh, Andrew's one-act play ‘A Familiar Face’ has just been published in Iran by Tehran-based Afraz Publishers. Two additional titles from Andrew’s back catalogue are expected to be published in the coming weeks, further cementing the cross-cultural ties that bind us together as a global community, regardless of political or social distinctions. Watch the UK Production of ‘Organ Failure’
The online production of ‘Organ Failure’ by the UK’s Troubadour Theatre, performed by the very talented actor Ashley Laura, went live this fall and can be viewed here. The monologue centers on a woman who had been having a long-standing affair with a married man which recently came to an end due to his passing, the circumstances of which fall into something of a morally gray area. Here she addresses him as he lies in his open casket.​

‘Ciao, Aleppo’ in London
The monologue ‘Ciao, Aleppo’ was produced by London’s Queen of Cups Productions for its digital new writing night ‘New Moon Monologues.’ ‘Ciao, Aleppo’ was performed by renowned actor Bhasker Patel, currently starring in the long-running British soap opera ‘Emmerdale.’ The event took place on Thursday, 17th of September, 2020, at 7.30pm (BST) and can be viewed here.

The UK’s Troubadour Theatre has chosen ‘Organ Failure’ as part of it line-up for its upcoming ‘Dark Work Monologues’ production. ​World Premiere of New Play ‘The Butcher’ in Hong Kong
Newly completed play ‘The Butcher’ will receive its world premiere in Hong Kong in May when the Hong Kong Players will be producing it alongside four plays taken from The Meta Plays collection (‘A Flawed Character,’ ‘The Craft,’ ‘The Curious Art of Critique,’ and ‘Tacked-On Ending’) as well as locally written material. The play also garnered best actress and best actor awards for its talented cast of Callie Sonnek and Zach Bolland.

‘The Craft’ Wins ‘Best of the Fest’ at Minnesota Shorts Festival
‘The Craft’ swept the awards at this year’s Minnesota Shorts Festival, in Mankato MN, with the play winning the award for ‘Best of the Fest’ along with actors Travis Carpenter and Noelle Lawton voted as Best Actor and Best Actress. This also marked director Maggie Maes’ fourth year in a row of directing the winning play.
